ABOUT STUDIO 22
studio 22 is a passionate, welcoming and inclusive dance school dedicated to inspiring a love of dance, building confidence and helping every individual reach their full potential. Based at Paramount Gym in Bedlington, Studio 22 offers a supportive environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can learn, grow and shine.
With classes ranging from nursery dance for little ones as young as 18 months through to adult classes, Studio 22 provides opportunities for everyone to experience the joy of movement, whether they are taking their very first steps into dance or developing their skills as a performer. Allowing our dancers to take part in school showcases, exams & competitions, provides our dancers with as many opportunities as possible.
Our classes offer much more than dance. We encourage teamwork, discipline, creativity, resilience and self-belief, while helping our dancers build lasting friendships and become part of something special. From freestyle and stage dance to acro, stretch and technique, our aim is to provide engaging, high-quality training that allows every dancer to develop their abilities in a fun, encouraging and positive atmosphere.
Led by our Principal, who brings a lifetime of dance experience, a degree in Primary Education and recognition as NCDTA Freestyle Rising Teacher of the Year 2025, Studio 22 is committed to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for every dancer to flourish.

I can’t speak highly enough of Hannah Sime. She has been such a lovely, friendly, kind and supportive person, always willing to help and go above and beyond. She is professional, trustworthy, loyal and genuinely cares about the people around her. She has such a lovely way about her that makes people feel comfortable, valued and supported. We feel very lucky to have had her as Grace’s former dance teacher and to still have her teaching Isla. She is a truly lovely person, both professionally and personally, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone.
